| Urban II's Finale Year was launched on 16 January in the Norther Ireland Council for Voluntary Action (NICVA) building. Attending was Eddie Mc Veigh of the European Commission office, Belfast. The lanuch was held in conjunction with a North Belfast Quality Support Programme (NIQSP) celebration event. |

Launch of Parkside Playpark

| On Friday 3 June 2005 the children from the Parkside area of North Belfast were jumping for joy at the opening of a new playpark. The playpark was officially opened by Ann McGuinness, the former Parkside community worker and a plaque was erected in her honour. |
